The “Königsetappe” – Perseverance is rewarded

The “Königsetappe” in Ramsau am Dachstein

As the name suggests, anyone who completes this hike is truly one of the “kings of the mountains”. Stamina is a prerequisite on this tour, which lasts several hours. You will also be rewarded with royal views and beautiful nature. And if you want to reward yourself even more, you can do so in one of the rustic alpine huts along the way.
Attention: The path leads through the Silberklamm, where there are wooden stairs. Normally not a problem for most dogs, but if your four-legged friend is a little older or has back problems, it could be a bit difficult for your pet.

The *Königsetappe” in Ramsau am Dachstein offers varied landscapes during this tour. Climb through a whitewater gorge to the Silberkaralm, then through pines into high alpine karst terrain, past Silberkarsee to the highest Alpine club hut in Styria, and over alpine pastures back into the valley. A fitness challenge, usually not for furry friends ;)

Tip: Stop at the Silberkarhütte. Products from their organic farm. Very cozy and incredibly delicious!
